Julian and Daddy

We love our evenings around here. The only complaint.......not enough "awake" time with Julian. Lately he has been in bed by seven or shortly thereafter. We do our best to get some quality time in before he passes out each evening. Adrian and I both cherish our nightly bedtime routine. Now if only our lives allowed for more time with our AWESOME little man. Enjoy him.....we do!!

Happiest Baby On The Block

Today Julian's teacher told me that he is the happiest baby they have ever had. That he is the only one that wakes up smiling and generally doesn't fuss. I would have thought she was blowing smoke up my rear if I didn't live with him myself. He REALLY is a happy baby. I don't know how we got so blessed......but I do know that I am thankful. We love that boy more than life itself......and how could you not......he is such a happy baby!!

First tooth!

Julian has been a bit on the fussy side lately. Which isn't him AT ALL. So we figured that teething might be on the way but today he proved that he meant business.

He was at daycare......sucking on teethers all day and when his teacher went to change his diaper after his afternoon nap she noticed a small spot of blood on his lower gum. Sure enough.....he cut his first tooth! It is still a bit too small to take a picture of it. But you know camera happy Mommy will post one as soon as she can get it!

Lazy Fall Weekends

We spent this weekend lounging around the house. We took Julian to a local pumpkin patch on Friday night. Didn't get too great of a smile.....he was super tired (looking drunk...good thing those pumpkins were there to help keep him up!) but seemed to enjoy himself. Saturday we went to Sugar Land and Sunday we spent on the couch watching the Patriot's kick the Titan's butts! Final score was 59 to 0. OUCH!!

4 Month Checkup & Solid Foods!

Julian had his 4 month appointment this week (complete with 4 month shots!). He weighed in at 16lbs 13oz and was 251/2 inches long!
Dr. gave us the go ahead to start him on solid foods (beginning with rice cereal) so off we were! Here are a few pictures from Julian's first time eating solid (well sorta solid anyway) food!

Road Trip

It is official....Julian is a rambling man. Okay....maybe not. But he did successfully complete his first road trip. Over the weekend we (Mom, Carla, Adrian, Julian and myself) drove to Dallas to watch Nicole play and hang out with the cousins. A great time was had by all.

Bath time!

I know, I know.....always with the bath time pictures. He has such a great time in there.....I just can't help but snap away. Here are a few from tonight's bath. We couldn't believe how big he looks in his tub. He will be outgrowing it sooner than later. I have also added a picture taken nearly a month ago for reference. He sure is growing!!

And for taking pictures too! We had fun taking Baby J's pictures for this awesome occasion. His first fall (okay, so maybe it is Mommy's favorite season). Enjoy the pictures. He sure is fun to shoot!

Rainy Weekend

This weekend was RAINY! So we spent a whole bunch of time indoors. With the steady rain and overcast skies I didn't even find the energy to set up many cute pictures. We did take some nonetheless! Here is a taste of what we spent our weekend doing.
