11 Weeks and growing....

WOW!! It was a busy weekend and has been a busy week. This week is flying by too fast for my taste. Mostly because I go back to work next Monday. We are doing all we can to prepare Julian for his transition into daycare and me for my transition back to the working world. The last twelve weeks have been the best of my life (yes....even with all the complications) and I don't particularly look forward to leaving my little man but we must do what we must do.

Over the weekend Uncle Jose and Aunt Kristen came to visit and love on Julian. And of course........Julian loved it!!

Other than visit with family.......I have been playing with my new camera and all of it's settings. Looking forward to more neat pictures to come!

Growing Little Boy

Every day this little boy gets bigger and bigger! He is doing more new things every day. This morning when I went to his crib he was asleep on his side. I honestly believe that had it not been for the rail he would have rolled all the way over. What a big boy!

Just looking cute.
How I found him this morning.

My Baby Boys

So.....the older Julian gets (surely it has nothing to do with the fact that he is around 24/7 and that he isn't going anywhere) the more the dogs dig him. They like to hang out with him.....wherever he may be. If he is crying......Diesel finds me to "let me know". He is all Diesel's when he is on the floor and Lance enjoys lounging with him on the couch.

Lance & Julian.....lounging.

Baby shaped doggie pillows....coming soon to a store near you.
He loves Julian's tummy time.
Let's just see how they feel when he can reach for them soon!!

Busy Weekend!

So.....we had a super busy weekend!

On Friday Julian got his 2 months shots. He took them like a champ! He cried for about 15 seconds and that was it. The nurse even said "Wow! You have a tough little boy on your hands.". I think Momma may have been more upset over the shots than Julian was.

Band Aids.....the mark of a true warrior!

On Saturday our friends Mike and Stephanie were married so we were pretty busy with all the preparations and festivities that day. Good thing we had Nana here to help us out!

Hanging out in Nana's lap during the reception.

Now here we are on Sunday.....and Sunday's are for lounging in this house. Here are a few pictures of Julian letting loose.

Making funny faces with super cool shades on!
We hope that everyone has a great week!

Bedtime Routine

Julian has been doing GREAT when it comes to his bedtime routine and sleeping most of the night in general. He has been in his own crib since this past weekend and seems to be loving the extra room (he has been traveling all over it in his sleep). His usual routine is as follows.....Bath Time, Change into PJ's, Story Time, Bedtime (he listens to Jewel's Lullaby CD each night to fall asleep). He is in bed before 9pm and usually doesn't wake up until after Midnight (last night it wasn't until 3am). At that time he feeds then it is back to bed until sometime around 7am.

Each night as we kiss him goodnight we are reminded at what a wonderfully special baby we have been blessed with! What a wonderful thing it is to watch him grow in front of our very eyes.

In his PJ's and ready for bed.

Julian has come to LOVE bath time.

Two month photos

I usually don't post back to back.....but I just have some BEAUTIFUL pictures to share. Today I was visiting a friend who's sister is a professional photographer. She asked to take pictures of Julian and who am I to say no (as long as I get a copy of the good ones!). Here are a few that she took.

I JUST LOVE THEM (but I am biased)!!

My favorite BY FAR!

UFC

Well......Julian.....being the Shogun he is loves watching UFC (surprise, surprise).

This past weekend was UFC 101 and as Mom and Dad usually do.....they rented the pay per view. We had a whole room full of people including Stephanie, Ken, Lo, Trey, Blake, Aunt Carla and Mom. Good times were had by all.....especially Julian!

Hanging out with Nana.

Love me some Auntie Carla Snuggles.

Family

So....as most of you know....I had to go back to the hospital (a third time!!) to have my Gall Bladder removed. I had another attack and this time it was so bad that my liver and pancreas were being affected so they admitted me. I went in on Sunday night and wasn't released until Wednesday afternoon.

Thank goodness that Hirma and Natalie were in town. They were able to care for Julian while Adrian was with me in the hospital. It was nice for them because they got to spend precious one on one time with their grandson/nephew and Adrian and I are thankful that they were here. They left last night and my Mom will be picking up the the tail end of my recovery time.

It just reminds me again of how important family is. I don't know how we would have gotten through the last few months without our families. They have really been there for us through some rough times.

We are SO BLESSED.

Momma's got a brand new camera!

So.....I am slacking this weekend. Hirma and Natalie are here for a visit and we have been hanging out so I haven't made the time to post some pictures.

Friday night I got a new camera......so look for a lot more (as if I don't take a ton already) pictures! The new camera is AWESOME to say the least.

Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days. Some taken with the old camera and some with the new.

Enjoy!!

Julian......napping the day away.
